Operating under the Ottawa Peace Foundation, Peace Camp Ottawa is an Ottawa-based initiative aimed at bringing Canadian, Palestinian, and Israeli youth together to:

  • build leadership skills;
  • foster personal development; and,
  • encourage dialogue.

How does it work?

Since 2009, Peace Camp Ottawa has been organizing multi-day dialogues where youth are invited to attend, share their story, and listen to the stories of others. By bringing the youth together in a neutral environment, Peace Camp Ottawa seeks to combat ethical, racial, cultural and religious hate-based conflicts before prejudice becomes ingrained.
