Ottawa Police seek Blackburn Hamlet bank robbery suspect

 

 

The Ottawa Police Service’s Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.

 

On Friday, November 20, 2009, at approximately 5:55 pm, a lone male suspect entered a Bank of Montreal branch situated in the 2600 block of Innes Rd in Blackburn Hamlet.  The suspect made a verbal demand for money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.  No injuries were sustained during the robbery.  No weapon was seen.  The suspect may have arrived and left the scene on a bike.         

 

The suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 30-years-old, 5’3”(160 cm), 140 lbs (64 kg), with dark bushy eyebrows. Suspect is possibly left handed.  (See photos attached)
