Ottawa Police seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for a bank robbery

The Ottawa Police Service’s Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for a bank robbery on December 22, 2009. 

 

On December 22, 2009, at approximately 7:05 pm, a lone male entered a branch of TD Canada Trust located in the 1700 block of Kilborn Ave.   The suspect passed a note making a demand for cash. The suspect made off with a small amount of cash.  The suspect also left with a dye pack and thus clothing and/or skin may be stained with red ink.  There were no injuries during the course of the robbery. 

 

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 20-25 years of age, approximately 183 cm (6‘0”) , with dark hair and a medium build.  (See attached photo)
