Ottawa Police seek suspect responsible for Alta Vista Dr. bank robbery

The Ottawa Police Service’s Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

 

On January 15, at approximately 12:10 pm, a lone male suspect entered a Scotiabank branch situated in the 2700 block of Alta Vista Dr.  The suspect produced a note making a demand for money.  The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running southbound on Bank St.  There were no injuries.   

 

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 year old, approximately 183 cm (6’0”), and clean shaven.  He was wearing a puffy green jacket, a blue ball cap, black gloves, and jeans.
