UPDATE: Ottawa Police Investigate a Serious Collision in West Carleton

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Collision Investigation Unit has charged a man in connection to a serious collision in the area of Mohrs Road and Kinburn Side Road, in West Carleton Township on July 25, 2010.
Brian MILLER, age 26, of Pakenham, Ontario has been charged with impaired driving and driving with in excess of 80 mgs of alcohol. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on August 25, 2010.
The 28-year-old male victim has since succumbed to his injuries. His name is being withheld at the request of the family.

Ottawa Police Investigate a Serious Collision in West Carleton
(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service responded to a serious collision with life-threatening injuries in the area of Mohrs Road and Kinburn Side Road, in the township of West Carleton. The collision occurred in the early morning hours of July 25, 2010, when an all-terrain vehicle struck the rear of a riding lawnmower. The driver of the ATV was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from the vehicle. He was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. The driver of the lawnmower was uninjured.
Speed and alcohol were factors in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
