(Ottawa)— Ottawa Police have charged a second man in connection to the stabbing which occurred in the area of Ritchie Street, on the evening of July 24, 2010.

 

Mohamed OSMAN, age 22, of Ottawa has been jointly charged with his brother Deeq OSMAN, with attempted murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon. 

 

He will appear in court today.

 

No further suspects are wanted by Ottawa Police in relation to this incident.

(Ottawa)—Ottawa Police have charged a man in connection to the stabbing which occurred in the area of Ritchie Street, on the evening of July 24, 2010.

 

Deeq OSMAN, age 21, of Ottawa, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.  He is to appear in court today.

 

Also wanted in connection to this incident is OSMAN’s brother, Mohamed OSMAN, age 22, also of Ottawa.

Ottawa Police Investigate a Stabbing Incident on Ritchie Street

 

(Ottawa)—On July 24, 2010 at approximately 7:15 pm, the Ottawa Police responded to the Ritchie Street area of Ottawa, where a male had been beaten and stabbed.  The male suffered head and back injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he was listed in serious condition. 

 

One male is currently in custody and it is believed that two other males were involved in the assault. 

The investigation is ongoing.
