Charges Laid by Ottawa Police in Voyeurism Investigation

(Ottawa)—On August 31, 2010, the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Section charged an Ottawa man with one count of Voyeurism and one count of Trespass at Night, as a result of an investigation. The investigation was commenced in August 2010, responding to a number of complaints of a male acting in a suspicious manner near people’s homes in the Centertown and Sandy Hill area.

Stefan Campagna, age 24, of Ottawa was arrested on August 30, 2010 and subsequently charged. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 27, 2010.

Police urge residents to report any suspicious activity or persons near their homes.
