Update - Merivale Road closed between Pineglen Crescent and Fallowfield Road

(Ottawa) –   Merivale Road is now re-opened. 

 

Today at about 2:28 pm the Ottawa Police Service attended the scene of a fatal collision involving two vehicles in the area of Merivale Road and Gervin Street.   The name of the deceased is not being released at this time. 

 

The investigation is ongoing.

Public Advisory: Merivale Road closed between Pineglen Crescent and Fallowfield Road

 

(Ottawa) – Merivale Road is currently closed between Pineglen Crescent and Fallowfield Road due to a serious collision between two vehicles.

 

Ottawa Police is asking commuters and pedestrians to avoid the area and take an alternate route where possible.
