Ottawa Police investigate a stabbing

(Ottawa) - The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a stabbing which occurred in the area of Waller and Besserer streets.

On September 3, 2010 at approximately 7:00 pm the Ottawa Police Service responded to a stabbing in an alleyway in the area of Waller and Besserer. Two males had been drinking when an altercation erupted between the two during which one was stabbed in the chest area. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was subsequently conveyed to the hospital where he was treated for his injury.

Description of suspect: white male in his early 50’s, thin build, dark hair in a ponytail, wearing a light blue shirt, black jeans and a baseball car.
